Moonlit collects only what readings need. This policy applies to both the app and the site (dream.aoineco.ai).
What we collect
The dreams and tags you record, and the readings generated for them, are stored on our server. Even anonymous use creates an anonymous account so your journal persists. Signing in with Apple or Google carries it across devices.
Your dreams and AI
To generate a reading, the dream text you write is sent to an AI model (Anthropic). It is used only to produce your reading — never for advertising or any other purpose.
How we use it
Only to generate readings, show your library, and compute recurring-symbol patterns. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising or ad tracking.
This is sensitive data
Your dream records are visible only to you (row-level access control). Operators access them only when service operation or error handling requires it.
Sign-in (Apple/Google)
If you sign in with Apple or Google, Supabase Auth processes account identifiers such as your email address and provider profile information for authentication. We do not copy your email address into your profile or use it for advertising.
Services we use
We use Supabase for storage and authentication, and Anthropic's AI models for reading generation. They process data on our behalf to run the app.
Keeping & deleting
We keep this data while you use the app. Settings → Export data downloads your full journal as JSON, and Settings → Delete account permanently erases your sign-in and every dream and reading (this can't be undone).
Children
This app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
